Your account
Settings are in the menu under your picture. They are arranged in sections.
| Section | What is there |
|---|---|
| Profile | Your picture, name, bio, location, colour. See Picture, name and bio. |
| Account | Your e-mail address, password, sessions, and deleting your account. |
| Linked accounts | Steam, Discord, Riot and the others you connect, each with its own visibility. |
| Privacy | What others can see, what is counted, and the data you can download. |
| Devices | The programs and phones paired to your account: Moymo for Windows, the phone app, television links. |
| Language | English or Czech. |
| Beta features | Things being tried. They may change or go away. |
| Connected apps | Applications you have allowed to see your account. |
E-mail and password
Your e-mail address has to be verified: Moymo sends a link, and until you follow it some features are off. To change your password, use Account. Changing it (or choosing sign out everywhere) signs out every browser and device that was signed in before, at once.
Moymo never asks for your password anywhere but moymo.net's own sign-in. The Windows program, the phone app and a television are paired instead: they show a code, you approve it while signed in, and they get a key of their own that you can take away at any time.
Devices
Settings > Devices lists everything paired to your account, with when it was last seen. Revoke takes a device away; it stops working on its next request. Revoking does not delete what it had already reported: your play history stays.
A new device is added by a code. A PC shows its code in Moymo for Windows; a television shows a QR code (scan it, or open moymo.net/pair-tv and type the code); a phone can be paired by scanning the code the PC shows under Add a phone.
Connected apps
Some websites and apps let you continue with Moymo. When one asks, Moymo shows you who is asking and what each part of the request means in plain words, and you choose to allow it or not. Settings > Connected apps lists every application you allowed, when, and what it may see. Take back ends it at once: the application is refused on its very next request. Moymo's own sites (the Developer Portal) are not listed, because they are Moymo.
Linked accounts
Each linked account has two choices: whether it is shown on your page, and what Moymo does with it. Disconnecting removes the connection; what was already imported (your library entries, your hours) stays unless you delete it.
Your data
Under Privacy you can download your data: everything Moymo holds about you, in a file you can read. You can also delete your account (the link is in Account, and at moymo.net/delete-account). Deleting removes your profile, your ratings and reviews, your messages, and what you wrote in servers; a server you own is handed to its longest-serving active member first, so other people's servers are not lost.
If you cannot sign in
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page: it sends a link to your verified e-mail. Moymo slows down repeated wrong passwords, per account and per place the tries come from, so the page may ask you to wait a little.
