Templates
A template is a whole page saved as a starting point: its blocks, its layout and its look. The template library lets you use other people's, and publish yours.
Using a template
- In the editor, open Templates.
- Browse the library. Search templates finds one by name; sort by Most used or Newest.
- Preview a template to see it with your own name and games in it, before committing to anything.
- Use template applies it to your page.
Applying a template replaces your page's layout. Nothing is saved until you press Save, so you can try a template, dislike it, and leave the editor to keep what you had.
Favourites
The star on a template card adds it to your favourites, a list to come back to.
Publishing yours
- Shape your page the way you want to share it.
- In Templates, choose Create template ("From your page as it stands right now").
- Give it a name and say what it is, in a few words ("Dark, one column, big cover art").
- Publish.
A template is made from your page as it stands right now, so shape the page the way you want to share it first, and use Preview template before you publish: that is what other people will get. You can mark a template Unlisted to keep it out of the listing, and Delete one you published.
What a template carries
A template carries a page's layout and look: the blocks and where they sit, the card, the background settings, the atmosphere, the effects and the entry screen. When somebody uses it, the blocks that draw from an account (your games, your hours, your Discord presence) show their account, not yours.
