Your profile

Your profile

You have two pages on Moymo, and the editor shapes both.

Your Moymo profileYour bio page (the "external profile")
WhereInside moymo.net, among the games, reviews and peopleAt its own address: yourname.moymo.net, your own domain, or a second short address
What it isA page in Moymo's own look: your picture, name, bio, shelves, reviews, activity, with your profile colour carried throughA free-form canvas you arrange yourself, made to be put in a bio on any other site
What you setPicture, name, bio, colour, badges, privacyEverything: background, blocks, music, effects, cursor, entry screen

When a visitor taps the link in your bio on another site, they land on the bio page. That is the page most of this guide is about. Settings that only change the bio page say so ("this is worn on your external profile only").

Opening the editor

Choose Customize in the menu. The editor has a window with panels, and shows the page as you change it. Nothing is saved until you press Save, and Edit page opens the canvas itself, where you place blocks by dragging them.

The panels, in the order this guide follows:

  1. Identity: Picture, name and bio.
  2. Appearance: Appearance: colour, background, atmosphere, name and bio effects, typeface, pointer, badges.
  3. Blocks: Blocks, and Music for the player.
  4. Page: The page itself: the card, the view counter, the entry screen, and your addresses.
  5. Templates: Templates: start from someone else's page, or share yours.
  6. Membership: which level you are, see Free, Moymo+ and Moymo MAX.

Starting points

A new page begins from a look. You can change everything, but these show the range:

LookForWhat it has
SignalGamersWhat you are playing now, your favourite games, your hours
EmberStreamersYour live status, big buttons to your channels
BlueprintCreatorsA few words and big buttons to everything you make
MonoMinimalYour name and your links, nothing else

Good to know

  • The preview is the real thing. The panels show the same drawing code that draws your live page, so what you see is what visitors get.
  • Free covers most of it. Blocks, backgrounds, templates, atmospheres, name effects, songs and your own domain are on every account. A few things (a custom typeface, a gradient accent, the audio visualiser, cursor trails) belong to Moymo MAX; see the levels.
  • Your Moymo profile and your bio page are separate. A picture or video background shows on the bio page only; your Moymo profile takes a colour or a gradient, so the navigation over it stays readable.

The wiki is for Moymo's members and developers. Something wrong or missing? Use "Suggest a change" on any page.
